Technology in Costa Rica
This week long workshop allows students to apply their acquired geospatial skills to map and analyze rainforest, riverine, and coral reef ecosystems in Costa Rica. This dynamic workshop trains students on the demands of field collection in remote and harsh areas. Students are transported to the tropical rainforest and coastal environs of Costa Rica where they are introduced to the ecological and geospatial field experience. workshop includes both classroom lectures and extensive field gathering in remote locations. Students are required to work within a team setting to create a final project and presentation.
