The Small Farms Conference is valuable to me because it relates to Florida, a unique place in many respects. I am able to make useful contacts and learn about what is happening in our state. The conference is very well organized and diverse in its approach. Some ideas from the talks can be put into place right away while others help to make decisions in long range planning.

We enjoy visiting with our friends and colleagues from across the state at the SFAE Conference. We also have made new connections with fellow farmers and industry representatives. The delicious locally-sourced meals at the conference showcase the possibilities of a strong local food system. The conference is nourishing on many levels.

The SFAE Conference is centrally located in Florida so it's probably not more than 4 hours from most places in Florida.  There will be programs that will give you new ideas to try on the farm, and the networking with other farmers is priceless.
