Registration

The registration fee, combined with sponsorship funds, includes Tuesday’s buffet lunch, refreshment breaks, a reception, one copy of the proceedings and conference materials.

We are delighted you wish to register for the 2005 Florida Ruminant Nutrition Symposium. Advanced registration is closed, however, we will be happy to register you onsite at the symposium.

Registration Confirmation: An email notice acknowledging we received your online registration submission will be sent within three business days. Please do not contact us to verify we received your online registration before this three-day period has elapsed. Formal written confirmation and a hard copy of your receipt will be mailed to you within three weeks of receiving your completed registration form and appropriate payment.

Refund Policy: Requests for registration refunds will be honored if a written notification of cancellation is received by the Office of Conferences & Institutes on or before January 18, 2005. A $15.00 processing fee will be deducted from all refunds. Sorry, no refunds will be honored for cancellations after January 18, 2005.

Special Needs: Participants with special needs can be reasonably accommodated by contacting the Office of Conferences & Institutes at least 10 working days prior to the conference. We can be reached by phone at 1-352-392-5930, by fax at 1-352-392-9734, or by calling 1-800-955-8771 (TDD). The TDD number can only be accessed from within the State of Florida.

Meeting Site & Accommodations

The Symposium will be held at the beautiful Best Western Gateway Grand located at 4200 NW 97th Blvd., Gainesville, Florida 32606 (Exit 390 off of I-75). All reservations must be made directly with the hotel in order to get the reduced group rate. Contact the hotel directly at 1-877-464-2378 or 1-352-331-3336, fax: 1-352-331-3337. Be sure to specify you are attending the Ruminant Nutrition Symposium.  

  • The rate for each standard room will be $69.00 per night plus 9% tax.  All standard rooms have two double beds, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, coffee maker and coffee.

  • Deluxe-king rooms are available at a rate of $79.00 per night plus 9% tax upon availability. All deluxe-king rooms have king size bed and a full size pullout sofa bed and also feature upgrades that include a refrigerator, microwave, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, and coffee maker.

  • A free continental breakfast will be served in the lobby each morning for all guests.

Reservations must be made prior to January 10, 2005 to assure availability and the group rate.
