Special Sessions

These special sessions repeat in order to accommodate a smaller class size. For example, one Calibration Training will be the same material as later Calibration Training Sessions. This is also true for the Aquatic Plant ID Sessions as well as the Natural Areas Plant ID Sessions.

Special Sessions

Herbicide/Pesticide Application Equipment Calibration/Math Training Sessions

Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for one of the calibration/math sessions at the Short Course. Calibration for equipment such as boom sprayers, hand-gun sprayers, and dry material spreader applicators will be emphasized as will a thorough explanation of the calculations involved with calibrating equipment. These sessions will review the math that is required for certification exams and will be a tremendous help to those new to application or testing.

Special Sessions

Live Aquatic Plant Identification and Natural Areas Plant Identification Sessions

Participants will have the opportunity to sign up for one of the aquatic plant and/or one of the natural areas plant identification sessions (50 people each). During sessions, participants will be able to ask questions and examine numerous aquatic and natural area plant samples.
