Who Should Attend?

This workshop will be of interest to entomology researchers in the USA, the Caribbean Region, and Central and South America who are in the vanguard of biological control of invasive pest species. The workshop will be highly relevant to international (e.g., North American Plant Protection Organization NAPPO, the Caribbean Plant Protection Commission CPPC, the Instituto Interamericano de Cooperacion para la Agricultura IICA, the Food and Agricultural Organization FAO of the UN, etc.), national (e.g., USDA APHIS PPQ, Department of Homeland Security, etc.) and state (e.g., Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services FDACS) regulatory agencies. The workshop will also target growers and extension specialists, who are often impacted first by threats posed by new invasive pests.
