O'Hare International Airport (ORD) - General Information:
O'Hare International Airport provides connections to more cities, more often than any other airport in the world. On the outskirts of the city and connected to Chicago city limits by a thin strip of land, over 190,000 people travel through O'Hare every day, and the airport was voted "Best Airport in North America" by Business Traveler International for seven years in a row.

TAXI SERVICE
The average rate for taxi service from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport to Schaumburg is $35.00. From Midway it is $60. GO Airport Express Airport Shuttle Service to O’Hare (ORD) Airport http://www.airportexpress.com/ohare_shared_ride_shuttle
Traveling From O’Hare: Airport Shuttles depart from O’Hare airport every 10-15 minutes for downtown service to Chicago hotels, downtown businesses, near north residential locations, and suburban locations.
The ticket counters and loading zones for boarding the GO Airport Express van are at Door 1E across from baggage claim 6, at Terminal 2 door 2E across from Jet Blue Baggage Claim, Terminal 3 Door 3E across from baggage claim 9 and at Terminal 5, just outside door 5E. If you do not see an van, call their toll-free number at 1-888-284-3826, and ask a reservationist to send a van to one of these locations when available.
The last GO Airport Express van leaves O’Hare at 11:30 pm seven nights a week.
Why is O'Hare's Airport Code "ORD"?
It does seem odd that it's ORD -- after all, there's not even a "D" in O'Hare -- until you find out that O'Hare's original name until 1949 was Orchard Field Airport, and the airport code stuck around after the name change.
