Post Conference Technical Field Trip

A fee of $50 includes lunch and transportation.

Advance Registration is Required by March 29, 2013.

Please note: There is a small block of rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn for those wanting to stay Thursday and Friday nights to attend the technical tour.

There are a couple of spots left for the tour on Friday 26 April.

We have added an exciting additional stop at the Newberry Bat Cave. Mike and Jim scouted it last week and it was awesome! A highlight is crawling on your stomach through narrow subterranean passageways. Note that it is also possible to see the cave via an easy spiral staircase instead of crawling.

Lastly, for those inclined to take the crawling routes in the cave we recommend wearing clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty (shirt, pants and shoes). One suggestion might be an overshirt that you can put on before entering the cave.
