What Does the Registration Fee Include?

Conference & Student Attendees: The EMECS 9 registration fee provides full participation in the conference including registration materials; morning, mid-day and afternoon refreshments; Sunday’s Welcome and Poster Reception, and Tuesday’s Closing Dinner Banquet.

SSP Student Fee: The SSP Student Fee provides students 18 and younger access to the SSP Conference Excursions and Concurrent Sessions. It also provides access to all regular conference activities including the Sunday Evening Welcome and Poster Reception and the Tuesday Evening Dinner Banquet. SSP Students will receive full conference materials and will be considered full conference attendees with regard to any submitted abstracts or presentations.

SSP Parent Chaperone Fee: The SSP Parent Chaperone fee provides access to all SSP functions part of the regularly scheduled conference including SSP concurrent sessions, excursions, Sunday evening’s Welcome and Poster Reception, Tuesday Evening’s Closing Dinner, and refreshment breaks. The Chaperone Fee does not provide you with conference materials. SSP Chaperones who are presenting papers and attending non-SSP portions of the conference should register as a regular conference attendee.

Guest Fee: The EMECS 9 guest fee allows guests 10 years of age and older to attend Sunday’s Welcome Reception and Tuesday’s Closing Dinner Banquet.

Optional Post-Conference Educational Tour Fee: This fee includes full participation in the post-conference educational tour of your choosing, any applicable entry fees, transportation, refreshments and a boxed lunch.

Defer Payment: Should you need to defer registration payment in order to work with your agency’s accounting practices please select the invoice option when prompted for payment. This will allow you to register your attendance while providing the flexibility to pay by Check at a later date or contact OCI at 352-392-5930 with Credit or P-Card information once travel funds are authorized.

Refund Policy: All refund requests must be received in writing by July 18, 2011. No refunds will be issued after this date. A processing fee of $100.00 will be deducted from all meeting participant refunds, $35.00 from all student and guest refunds and $15 from all tour refunds.

Special Needs: Participants with special needs can be reasonably accommodated by contacting the Office of Conferences & Institutes at least 21 working days prior to the conference.
