recommendations from breakout discussions to be disseminated
to appropriate administrators, agencies, and other decision
makers. Recommendations will focus on:
Identification of risks and vulnerabilities to
climate extremes and climate change
Solutions for managing risks at regional and local
scales
Opportunities to integrate research, teaching, and
extension to find solutions for managing climate

Priorities for research, teaching, and extension
programs needed to meet stakeholder needs for
